Yes, I wonder how far it went with Cary and Kalinda, too. We got to see Cary more in this episode -- hope that continues! I liked the new investigator the firm hired. And as Bishop's lawyer, Wallace Shawn acted innocent but seemed sinister underneath. He was fascinating.

I think that Diane has her head screwed on correctly. They can't afford to be wasteful, it's what got them in the mess they were in and now they have to steer clear of the wrong things.
I also think not making Cary and the other associates partner was the wrong move for them and it will come back to bite them in the ass. I really don't know why they listened to that old bufoon. He did nothing to help them and yet he reaped the reward of their windfall. Also David Lee is such an ass. They should oust him when they get the chance. He is an ass through and through and will backstab them as soon as he gets another chance.

I always pictured them as friends, nothing more exept that Alicia is probably one of the few people Kalinda actually trusts and respects. It's probably why they're so close. Same thing goes for Alicia, she always trusted Kalinda.

You left out a big point: Cary and Kalinda??? Did they or didn't they?? I actually like this pairing, even though its not what I would picture for either one of them. Maybe that's why I like it.
