Rigsby had to save him from a boy in Blood Brothers, after Jane malipulated the truth out of him at the sacred fire ceremony!

@entwife just piss the bully off as much as possible and if he comes at you, run away. makes perfect sense.

@entwife yes, he's the king of little sounds. in cackle-bladder blood when the detective has him handcuffed and lisbon is there and patrick's telling his story patrick says, "i'm no hero, i did what anyone would do." lisbon says, "no one thinks you're a hero." patrick says, "no? huh? ok." and then phumphers into silence. i laugh every time. this is simon at his comedic best.
also when he asks lisbon to dance, he makes a variety of little sounds until she agrees.

Yes, we were talking about Jane's need to stand up to a bully, not back down. But then if it gets physical, he'll run, he doesn't like to be physically hurt. Like in bloodshot when Lisbon pinches him in the hospital, it's so funny she does it like you'd do to a pesky little brother and he responds in kind by whining and complaining like one, rightly so I guess. But it's a Jane thing that totally makes me love the guy. I also totally love that Lisbon is always getting physical with him that way, trying to curb him and get him to pay attention and mind.

Yes, the boat blowing up, that's the one. Jane's physical cowardice is one of the things I love most about him. He doesn't try to hide it and it's accompanied by all sorts of moans and groans and whimpering sounds. It totally cracks me up. There's an innocence about it.

also thinking about that scene when yuri is shooting at mashburn. lisbon protects walter pushing him down and then shooting. usually patrick would be the protected one. this is charmingly illustrated in the blood on his hands where a young visualize person comes into the cbi compound and shoots the lawyer who's turning state's evidence. lisbon has her hand on a crouching jane. he really looks so protected; so trusting. interesting that in red hot, her instincts are transferred to walter.

@entwife like when the lawyers boat blows up and jane runs the other way. also love when he gets the cop in bleeding heart furious and he runs and leaps the rope and then stands around nervously.

Oh yes @huisclothes, Jane jumping into the bushes is the creme de la creme of his fraidy cat antics -- belly laugh time!

@entwife i think patrick is very coordinated, can dance, sleight of hand. so he'd know how to time a move like that and put his body into correctly. in general he can bring people to their knees while sitting on the leather couch. they show him as a fraidy cat which i think is a brilliant part of his character. i also love the way he jumps in a bush in the mashburn episode red hot. demonstrating to walter his total professionalism. also, if you've seen him in the necklace, he fences and looks good doing it. used those skills again in something's rotten in redmond.

@KM never heard of Morton's toe but I bet you're right, he doesn't have that kinda prehensile index toe you must be talking about, makes a nice line for his foot. I feel like I'm getting too pervy or something lol, went looking for pictures of his bare feet and hands.

@huisclothes, sorry, meant bloodshot. Stuts wa have! Patrick Jane knocks the stuffing out of the guy with his elbow to save himself, and possibly Van Pelt. I guess he does have a little fight in him.

@km you have an excellent memory. yes, the checkered may not reflect his personal taste. but the lack of morton's toe bodes well for his ballet career.

@ huisclothes,
They both have had some different wardrobe this year. Some I like and others that I'm not as fond of. Perhaps, Baker doesn't wish to own the checkered.
@Entwife,
His feet seem to lack a dominant second toe or Morton's toe. That may be part of it.

@km one thing i'm not loving is the plaid suit he's wearing a lot this year. if it was a classic prince of wales, maybe. but this one's going a little too stubby kaye. "and the devil will drag you under by the sharp lapel of your checkered coat. siddown, siddown, siddown. siddown, you're rockin' the boat." though patrick is indeed rockin' the boat for all around him.

@entwife his feet are very pretty in the prison cell scene in black gold and red blood. think i remember seeing a photo pre-mentalist of simon being given a pedicure in the trailer on a movie set. i'm sure they buff up every part of him that shows.
also in the surf scene, the ankle bracelet helps the whole thing. so sexy.

I love to look at his hands in the close ups in this episode. How can a man have such beautiful hands and feet? The feet I saw in that surfing scene from Smith.

Indeed, Robin has very balanced features. And, a really lovely, in my opinion, imbalanced smile. Maybe a dimple on her right side. If you Google images of her with a shaved head, then you can see that she has a little widows peak. I imagine that has to be considered when styling her hair. I have a natural center part, and hated it as a kid. And, a cowlick right next to my part which was annoying. So much easier to do a side part. Now, I don't fight my hair as much. Cut it to work with wavey curls, part it in the center and let the cowlick be the unusual curl.
Sorry, I didn't mean to get us off track. I just noticed the part shift as well as other changes to wardrobe going on with both Patrick and Teresa.
