NCIS Sneak Peek: Thai Food and Beer?

by at . Comments

After the shocking events of "Shabbat Shalom" and "Shiva" earlier this year, it was only a matter of time until the death of Ziva's father resurfaced on NCIS. Looks like that time is tonight.

Tony is suspicious of what Ziva's been up to lately, believing that Thai food, beer and late night calls to Shmiel cannot be a coincidence. Something's up with her, it's just a question of what.

While he and McGee argue over whether his concern is being a good citizen or stalking, Bodnar also comes up in a talk between Vance and Gibbs, who are well aware of Ziva sniffing around.

Although he's the CIA's problem now, there's no doubt Ziva has taken this into her own hands ... as has Vance himself, according to Gibbs. Who knows what? Who's plotting what?

Pauley P and Brian D just put up a video on twitter via @CBSTweet that Colin Hanks was going to be a guest on the last two episodes as a federal prosecutor.

One thing's for sure: if they don't have Tony address the issue with Ziva, then they have been yanking us all year. Maybe they feel they needed some strife before they could really move forward, like this was Tony's splash of cold water in the face, although I felt, certainly during "Squall", that Tony is in love with Ziva. Maybe this will be the straw that broke the camel's back. It will be interesting to see how many stars this ep gets. Although the viewers rating will probably go through the roof.

I am with you. I feel like there is always all this TIVA hype and then I am kind of let down. Hopefully though Berlin will not since we know Tony and Ziva are in Germany together and that it and remaining episodes are revolving around the hunt for Bodnar.

I hope we have more TIVA than what has been alluded to! But, you never know with these writers and with Gary Glasberg! I agree that we expect more sometimes than we should and get too disappointed. I guess all good things come to those who wait!! At least I hope so! We shall see.

Now my concern, since they've already spoiled the dancing and Tony smiling while sitting on the bed picture, is that is all the TIVA we will get. Because of what we've seen, we expect to see more, and then get disappointed when we don't. Not nice, CBS! I do have to say that it was hinted at in a spoiler somewhere that there may be someone other than ZIva who was hiding a secret and there would be trouble in TIVA-paradise. Well, that's right. At the time I thought they meant Vance, but now we can see it was Tim. They had to bring him in to the story somehow, but not sure what role he will play going forward.

I'm still mad, after watching that scene again, but in defense of Tim, I think he was really trying to not let Tony know, because Ziva didn't want him to tell him. It just shows how much Tim has grown as a character to not quiver and cower when Tony is after something. Don't get me wrong, I don't like that Tim knew and Tony didn't, but Tim played it the only way he could given the circumstances. And I did like the Tony/Abby scene.

I agree. Those looks Tony gave Ziva were pretty heavy. I guess that's what Cote meant when she said that Tony and Ziva give each other "loud looks"! I felt so bad for Tony too, because he looked so betrayed in that hotel room! I guess I am just experiencing a little of a bitter after taste right now! HA! Thanks for responding! I appreciate it!

This episode made me so mad. I can't believe Mcgee was in on the whole thing after criticizing Tony for caring, and you could tell Tony was upset and jealous. And hold up where was the incredibly sweet moments between Tony and Ziva in this episode? Although I am glad that Tony will be going with Ziva on her mission to find Bodnar. She needs him now more than ever, and I can tell that the next episode in 2 WHOLE WEEKS will be the episode that I have been waiting for.

@chellemaria: I guess the "sweet moments" were Tony being concerned about Ziva, although that last look at each other when they brought the husband in was fraught with emotion. Tony looked like he was kicked in the gut, like he believed Ziva and Tim were a couple. Some ones got soem 'splainin' to do!

I totally agree with you. I found myself a little miffed that McGee was in on the whole thing and then had the nerve to criticize Tony for being concerned. I did not like that Ziva had not shared a thing with Tony. And what about the "incredibly sweet moments" that the recent spoiler said would occur in this episode. Did you find any moment to be incredibly sweet between Tony and Ziva? Here's hoping "Berlin" does a better job of living up to its hype! But yes, 2 weeks, uggh!!

NCIS Season 10 Episode 20 Quotes

Ziva: It's not about a choice it's about survival. She will not stop until she gets her closure.
Tony: We still talking about the lieutenant?
Ziva: Please do not go there. I'm fine.

Ziva : I would like your permission to travel to Europe to find Bodnar. I have been trying to locate him with the help of McGee and various contacts.
Gibbs: I know.
Ziva: You have known all this time? Then why did...
Gibbs: You needed to be ready to tell me. He's in Rome.
Ziva: That's what I thought too.
Gibbs: What are you waiting for? Take DiNozzo. Go.
