Scott Bakula Joins Cast of NCIS: New Orleans

Scott Bakula is headed to The Big Easy, courtesy of CBS.

According to network sources, the veteran actor (Quantum Leap, Men of a Certain Age) will lead the upcoming NCIS spinoff set in New Orleans as Special Agent Pride.

The character is described in casting notes as being "warm" and "driven to do what's right," while also embodying the city itself and being perfectly suited to the "unique region.

NCIS boss Gary Glasberg and star Mark Harmon will produce NCIS: New Orleans, whose pilot will be part of a two-part NCIS Season 11 episode this spring.

With Pride set, the series is now casting for:

  • Agent LaSalle. a “muscular,” “devilish” and “charming” 30-something former Sheriff’s deputy and Louisiana native.
  • Agent Brody, a 30-something female with an Ivy League mind and “Grace Kelly-like class, pomp and circumstance."
  • Dr. Wade, the “outspoken” and “eccentric” Ducky-like member of the unit.
