Reign Season 2 Scoop: Who's Coming on Board?

by at . Comments

A quartet of new characters will hold court on Reign Season 2.

According to TV Line, four new recurring players will be cast on The CW drama between now and when it returns with new episodes in October.

They will be led by the “very sexually advanced” daughter of Catherine and Henry, a young woman named Princess Claude who will get into plenty of trouble this fall.

Catherine Requests Mary's Help

Other characters on the way will include:

  • Narcisse, an older gentleman who will serve as Catherine's sparring partner.
  • Conde( aka the “Prince of the Blood"), who will strike up an unexpected friendship with Francis.
  • Prince Thomas, who "may be the next king of France sooner than he’d imagined," according to network casting notes.

Any suggestions on who should take on these roles? Let's hear em!

Since history had Francis rule a year after his father Henry died. i suppose the season 2 finale will be Nostradamus's prophecy coming true and Francis dies. Although Francis was succeeded by his brothers, Charles and Henry -not a Prince Thomas.

Reign Quotes

I don't make love to you because I want a baby. I want a baby because I love you.

Francis

I was wrong. What I asked of you, the backward step. You must know. I want the same
world as you do, the better one, and the only way to field it is together. We do greater things when we act as one, when we trust each other as equals. This is not a coronation for a King. It is for a King and Queen.

Francis
