Soon, Matthew and Sybil may not be the only members of the Crawley family you're mourning.

TVLine is reporting Downton Abbey Season 6 will be its last. While the reports are unconfirmed, Julian Fellowes has had a series, The Guilded Age, on the back burner at NBC for some time that he may want to work on. NBC Universal is the parent company to Carnival, which produces Downton.

Maggie Smith noted earlier this month that she believed the show might be coming to an end, when she joked to the Sunday Times about her character, the Dowager Countess Violet Crawley, "I can't see how it could go on. I mean, I certainly can't keep going. To my knowledge, I must be 110 by now. We’re into the late 1920s."
