Now there’s more news about Castle Season 8, which began filming today…

Sunkrish Bala, formerly Dr. Caleb Subramanian on The Walking Dead, is about to enter the 12th precinct for Castle Season 8. Sunkrish will play Vikram Singh, a high-strung tech analyst who has a complicated past.  

Bala has previously been seen in guest roles on Scorpion, NCIS, Modern Family, Shameless, and Awkward. His new role on Castle is said to be for a season long story arc. 

But we have one question...what does this mean for Castle’s season 7 tech analyst, Tory Ellis played by Maya Stojan?
