Steven R. McQueen to Guest Star on Chicago Fire Season Premiere

Danielle Gelber, Executive Producer on Chicago Fire, Tweeted a photo today of her on set with the actor behind Jeremy Gilbert, writing a caption to the image:
"Newest addition to #ChicagoFire. Welcome to the family! @McQueeninchains #season4."
No details on McQueen's role are available at this time, but look for him to appear on the Season 4 premiere.
Chicago Fire, of course, also stars Taylor Kinney, who rose to television fame as Uncle Mason on The Vampire Diaries.
McQueen starred as Elena's kid brother since the very first episode of The Vampire Diaries, departing the series about halfway through The Vampire Diaries Season 6.
UPDATE: McQueen will recur as a new candidate named Jimmy Borell.
