American Horror Story Season 7: Colton Haynes Joins Cast

at .

American Horror Story Season 7 is still a few months away from premiering, and the show is still adding new additions to the cast.

The latest star to join the FX series is Colton Haynes, and we're freaking out about it.

Ryan Murphy took to Instagram to welcome Haynes to the family and gave us a first glimpse of the character he will be playing.

"Welcome to American Horror Story, Colton Haynes," the series creator shared with his followers on the website late Tuesday night.

Haynes was quick to chime in with his own thoughts on the casting and even shared the same image to his followers.

"American Horror Story Season 7...Already feels like home :) So excited."

Haynes previously appeared as a guest star on Murphy's failed Fox comedy series, Scream Queens. That show was canceled last month as Fox confirmed there were no more stories to tell for the characters.

Little is known about the upcoming series of the hit series. Ryan previously stated there would be an election-themed twist, but whether that will be the overarching theme, we have no idea.

Haynes will join Billie Lourd who has also made the jump to American Horror Story from the crazy comedy series.

Little is known about Lourd's character but were given our first glimpse at her in a recent Instagram post from Ryan.

Colton has previously appeared on Teen Wolf, Arrow, and The Gates. He is no stranger to supernatural series.

The cast for American Horror Season 7 includes:

- Evan Peters

- Sarah Paulson

- Billie Lourd

- Leslie Grossman

- Adina Porter

- Cheyenne Jackson

- Billy Eichner
