Matt: Laurie's not a part of this!
Michael: Matthew, John, Michael...they were all disciples. Maybe Laurie's one, too.
Matt: You used to burn men's houses down for pretending to be what they're not. What happened to you, John? What happened to your wrath?
Laurie: He found peace.
Matt: He thinks his daughter is still alive. That's not peace.
Matt: The Sudden Departure was you.
David: Uh huh.
Matt: Why?
David: Because I could.
Matt: You're gonna have to do better than that.
David: Why?
Matt: Because there has to be a reason.
David: Why?
Matt: Everything in my life, I've done for a reason.
David: Why?
Matt: To help people, to guide them, to ease their suffering, even though I suffered myself. I sacrificed my happiness. I let my family abandon me.
David: Why?
Matt: FOR YOU!!!
David: Everything you've done, you've done because you thought I was watching because you thought I was judging. But I wasn't. I'm not. You've never done anything for me. You've done it for yourself.
Matt: Is that why you're killing me?
Oh, it's me again. I don't know if you're getting my messages, but there's been a nuclear incident in the South Pacific. I've secured transportation. I'm coming to get you, Kevin.
Matt [leaving a phone message]
Matt: No one seems to care that I just witnessed a murder. The man who perpetrated it just assaulted me.
John: He what?
Matt: He hit me with impunity, and he needs to be dealt with.
Laurie: Dealt with how?
Matt: We need to compel him to confess. Be not conceived, God shall not be mocked. For whatsoever a man soweth, that he should also reap.
John: Nah, we're not reaping anyone, man.
Matt: Thank you all for coming. I'm glad you're here.
Laurie: Are you OK?
Matt: Actually, Laurie, I'm dying.
Matt: You believe me, don't you?
John: Yeah, sure.
Matt: Like when you believed I molested my comatose wife.
Matt: What's the difference between a pimple and a priest? A pimple waits until you're 12 to come on your face.
Pride Lady: Right you are then.
Nora: What's your question?
Dr. Aiden: Two infant twins are born. One of them will grow up to cure cancer, but only if one of them dies now. You don't have to kill the baby yourself, but you do have to nod to make it happen. Do you nod?
Kids die every day. What's one more? And I get to cure cancer? Sure I nod.

Kevin? Under no circumstances should you approach her again, OK? You might scare her off. Kevin? Kevin!?

Nora: Kevin? What's wrong? You can tell me anything.
Kevin: No, I can't. The last time I told you everything I woke up handcuffed to a bed and you were gone.
Nora: Kevin, I didn't now how to handle you talking to a dead person. Oh, Jesus, is it happening again?
