In order to get over her break up with Carol, Liz decides to become a spinster and adopts a cat.  She goes out with Jenna and meets a guy at the club.

Jack needs to negotiate with Kabletown for NBC, but can't even win negotiations with his new baby's night nurse.  Once he realizes to use the same strategy his nurse was using on him with Kabletown, he gets it done.

Pete and Frank start a band, but begin to fight immediately after writing their first song.

After coming into work the next day after her one night stand, Liz realizes that the entire night was a master plan by the rest of TGS to get her out of her crazy spinster ways.
