Matty, after taking some advice from his brother, decides to keep pursuing Jenna.
At the formal, Matty asks Jenna if they still have a chance because the reason he was tiptoeing around her is because Jake is also interested in her. Jenna chooses Jake and Matty leaves heartbroken.
As Jake walks Jenna home they set off the alarm. As Jenna is looking for the alarm code she finds paper that matches her letter, revealing that Lacey wrote the letter.

So if matty really likes Jenna like he says then he should do something big and really out there like in front of the entire SCHOOL!! On the other hand jake really likes Jenna and has always been nice to her even with her fake suicide thing so Jenna should block matty out and really let jack in💋.
