Eddie and her partner encounter an agitator who is filming the cops for the sake of causing trouble. A guy wants to hit him. The guy keeps insisting on camera the cops have attacked him and are interfering with his First Amendment rights. Eventually, Eddie arrests him.

A corrupt guy bothers Anthony. He's out of jail now. And he says he's been talking to Leo. Anthony isn't interested.

Abigail tells Frank about a wild party at the Dept of Sanitation. Sid interrupts. He never brought something like this to Frank's attention before. The Mayor has requested Jamie to head his security detail.

Danny and Maria arrive at the scene of a homicide that was called in by a very green cop. When Danny goes inside he discovers the woman is still alive.

Grace's parents arrive at the hospital. Her father minimizes Grace's conflict with a boyfriend and says that she needs them.

Eddie's partner insists she "took the bait" and that no one cares if it was justified when a cop hits someone. He didn't think she was a hothead like Danny.

Anthony goes to see Leo. Leo's girlfriend shows up and is glad to see Anthony really exists. She is pregnant. Anthony gets that Leo needs money with a baby on the way. Leo tells him it's twins and they don't have insurance for the hospital bill. The guy he used to be would have run but he doesn't want to. Anthony promises he will figure something out but don't tell Amber he has been talking to mobsters.

Danny and Maria asks Grace's friend about Grace's boyfriend. Her friend claims not to know anything about him.  She says this morning Grace called her upset. Danny thinks maybe this woman is Grace's girlfriend. She admits they were dating but Grace didn't want her parents to know she was gay because they would parade her around to show how cool they were. So they broke up and then Grace called and said she made a mistake. If she had just gotten there five minutes earlier she could have stopped the assault. Her text shows she texted Grace she was running late...10 minutes after the attack.

Jamie drops by Frank's house. Sorry he didn't call. Frank says he doesn't have to call before he comes here. Jamie tells him he got a call from Chase, but Chase didn't tell him anything except he wanted to invite him to lunch at Grace Mansion. Frank tells him. Jamie says but I'm just a cop. He's upset that Frank didn't give him a heads-up. He thinks Chase wants him because of Chase's issues with Frank. Jamie thinks he can handle lunch and storms off upset.

Danny and Maria question the Spences' driver. He drove them to JFK yesterday. He doesn't want to talk to them. Danny lets him know that someone bashed Grace's head in. He says Mr. Spence was angry at his wife. The last thing he heard was whatever she did, she did it because he shamed her first.

Eddie and Jamie talk. Eddie says she will go wherever he goes. Eddie's partner informs her the suspect made a video saying that he is suing because they attacked him without provocation. He blames Eddie because she didn't listen to him and stay out of it.

Erin walks in on Anthony calling someone about an unsecured medical loan. She wants to know what's going on. He missed a witness interview this morning. Anthony says he thought they were setting boundaries.

Danny and Maria talk to the Spences. They want to know about Mrs. Spences self-care business. Robert says it's a bunch of crap. Maria says it's a pyramid scheme. Lots of friends think the Spences ripped them off. Danny thinks one of these former friends attacked Grace. The Spences start fighting. Danny tells them to put their animosity aside and figure out who might have fone this. Robert leaves to be with his daughter.

Garrett seems angrier about this situation than Frank is. He thinks they should go behind the Mayor's back and get info about the lunch. Frank says no to spying on Jamie. He wants Garrett to find out what else Chase is up to that he doesn't know about.

After saying Grace at Sunday dinner, Danny wishes Erin would make her stew every week. Somehow everyone knows about Jamie's lunch with the Mayor. Jamie is annoyed. Sean has no idea what's going on. Jamie is upset that Frank didn't tell him ahead of time. The family is surprised that Jamie would want to be anything but a cop. Henry and Danny claim they always wanted to be cops. Frank says he loved wearing the uniform but what changed his path happened to him.

Maria and Danny go searching for suspects. Maria feels guilty about the Spences fighting because of the investigation. Danny says tracking down the attempted murderer will make them feel better.

Henry goes to see Eddie. He has an idea for the anti-cop guy. He trusts Eddie even though she doesn't trust herself. He says that Gertz needs further investigation. He might be trying to keep the spotlight off his own crimes.

Garett has a confidential memo from someone who may be on the mayor's staff. Chase has been looking for valuable assets in various government agencies. Jamie is at the top of his list. He wants to run for governor and is putting together his team already.

Leo says he will get another job. ANthony doesn't think that's a good idea. Amber asks what they are whispering about. Leo says the Mets. Anthony says to be honest. Amber comes in and says it's obvious they are up to something, what is it? All of a sudden she goes into what she thinks is labor.

A security guard bothers Gertz and Henry pretends to be a big fan and says there are perverts who use Youtube to solicit underage girls. Gertz pretends not to know what he's talking about but is clearly nervous.

None of the people on Mrs. Spence's list check out. The cops are not giving up. Grace is awake. Danny says he has to see her first.

Grace says she remembers Danny. She says she was reading and she heard a noise and went to the door and ran right into the perp but she didn't see his face. She turned to run and there was a pain in the back of her head. It sounded to her like the guy was scared. He called someone and said he screwed up, I screwed up real bad Artie.

Eddie's partner meets Henry. Also Gertz has dropped his lawsuit and deleted his Youtube channel. Eddie says that's weird. Henry says he heard Badillo thinks the Reagans are goody-two shoes and hotheads.

Artie is called in to confront Roy, his partner in crime. They are both arrested.

Danny doesn't know if the Spences' relationship can be patched up but he just wants what's best for Grace.

Erin tracks Anthony down in the hospital and wants to know what's going on. The mobster shows up and says he and Leo go way back but they both cleaned up their act. He claims he cleaned up his act because of her. He says he is paying for everything and that Leo owes him nothing. Henjoys being a good guy and is going to pay for every new baby in here.

Frank comes to see Jamie. Jamie already knows the Mayor wants him because he's a Reagan. Frank says that Jamie is exceptional without the Reagan name. Jamie doesn't think so. He talked to a buddy on the detail. Frank is mostly concerned that Jamie not make the decision based on what he thinks. Jamie doesn't know his next move but he wants to make it as he sees fit. He will keep Frank in the loop.
