In the beginning of this episode Booth, Brennan, and their adorable daughter Christine are having breakfast on what seems to be quite a normal morning. Brennan is researching schools on the internet while Booth tries to convince Christine to eat her breakfast. Booth's methods don't work, but Brennan is able to convince her by explaining what various vitamin deficiencies will cause.

Booth shows that he is beginning to trust Aubrey by bringing up Kindergarten and asking his advice. The two also work together in solving this week's case which involves the murder of a video-gamer.

Jessica Warren is the intern this week, and she's dealing with change as the educational cooperative she grew up in is being disbanded. She spends most of the episode pretending that she's just fine, and she even shows her willingness to stand up to Brennan. By the end of the episode, she breaks down in tears, and Angela and Hodgins invite her to come home with them.

Brennan and Angela share a scene in which they talk about the changes in their lives and their children as they watch Christine and Michael Vincent play. Most of this episode is centered on the idea of Brennan becoming more open-minded, specifically when it comes to her daughter's education.

The murder case is solved by the end of the episode, and results in an unexpected happy ending between the game designer and a girl who he had believed was his girlfriend.
