Jai comes to Annie to talk about something, but as he's leaving his car is blown up and he dies. Arthur puts Auggie in charge of Jai's department in order for him to figure out what happened to Jai.
After being accused of having something to do with Jai's death, Annie is switched to a new department of the CIA run by Lena Smith. They decide to go on a mission in Morocco.
Annie meets Simon, who is a killer that is buying up land in Africa. A couple of Germans try to take Annie out, but she gets away. While out and about with Simon, Annie attempts to get information off of his tablet.
