The boys take on Mason, an archeologist as their client when his storage unit has been foreclosed upon and he needs to get a priceless death mask from inside. The boys use the rumor of a death curse to make Mason look crazy and void his contract so he can enter the unit and retrieve the mask.

Pindar and Carmen have moved out of the house. Dan, a new investigator has joined the firm. Ellen Swatello left the DA's office to join the firm and the boys hire a new attorney, Anita Haskins. 

Rachel King embezzled funds from the firm and ran off to Croatia but she set up Damian to make him look like her partner. Damian has no idea that Infeld took a deal to protect him. Infeld is now working as a mechanic. Damian took a partnership at another firm. Franklin & Bash are now in charge.
