Chuck finds a locket the woman left on his dad’s grave. He tracks the woman down, but she denies having birthed him.
She says she had a few memorable nights with Bart, but nothing more. Blair knows she’s lying and guilts her into re-considering her cover story.
Chuck says he's spent his entire life thinking his mom died during childbirth, so Blair wants to let Chuck off the hook, so to speak.
Blair’s bullying does the trick, but Chuck steps away from his phone just as a call that might hold the truth comes through.
Lily spills some truth of her own and sends Rufus running. He hides out from Lily because he’s afraid to hear the truth, that she had seen her ex-husband and lied to cover it up.
Lily confesses she did see the ex, but didn’t have sex with him - just a kiss. Some kiss, Rufus says, and bolts ... but not until visiting his "friend" in Lily's building.
Nate and Serena spent a lot of the holidays trading flirty texts, so when they see each other in person they decide they want a relationship but to take it slow.
That lasts about seven seconds. Nate and Serena get hot and heavy even though Blair warned Serena that Nate would lose interest if she gave it up too quickly.
Nate tells Serena the next day he wants to go to a party at the French Ambassadors place without a date because he wants to get back to the slow moving thing.
Serena storms out and calls Damien, Jenny’s drug-dealing diplomat, who jumps at the chance to take Serena to the soiree.
Before the big affair, Damien calls on Jenny to get a load of pills into the party for the Ambassadors daughter.
Clever little Jenny stitches them all into a chic jacket to be swapped once inside.
But Jenny doesn’t get to actually make the French connection because Damien tells her he’s taking S as his date instead. Jenny knows Nate will be bummed to see Serena show up with another guy on her arm, so she waits on the street to step in to be Nate’s date.
Good thing too. Damien can’t get Serena to take off the jacket. It’s laced with pills Damien needs to make the switch before the Ambassador’s daughter starts French Revolution part deux.
Damien tries to kiss S into removal, but she rejects him. Damien’s about to give up on the pills and his "career" when J steps in and tells Nate to stop whining, man up and catch Serena before she bolts.
He does and one seriously steamy coat room sex scene ensues.
Jenny ensures the Ambassador’s daughter gets her pills and throws in a little flirty gloating with Damien to further prove her worth.
We expect big things from J!
Serena: Did I tell you that he texts me every night before he goes to sleep? It's so sweet.
Blair: Sexting is not sweet. It's off-limits until you're in a relationship.
