On this week's of Hell On Wheels…

A group of Cheyenne have derailed one of Durant's trains.

Bohannon and Ferguson return to camp after their previous fugitive status.

Durant sends Bohannon, Joseph Blackmoon, and a group of Union Calvary to speak with the Cheyenne about the attack and ask for the ones responsible.  Durant wants them dead.

Bohannon asks for Ferguson to come along as backup in case the Union soldiers try and kill him in addition.

Blackmoon leads the group astray in the hopes that his people will escape, except they are confronted and surrounded by attacking Cheyenne.

Lily Bell decides to leave Durant's care and sets up camp by herself. She befriends Eva, the prostitute.

Episode Number:

Bohannon finally got away from the writer’s ignorance about railroad construction and
became a killer first of the Swede’s posse and in this episode on a hunt for Indians. Lily Bell spurns the advances of Dr. Durant and moves into her tent with a mud floor.
Somehow she has managed NOT to have any money, even though her husband’s crew’s
wages and “the maps and instruments and other equipment were worth a small fortune.
Not to mention her family’s wealth and the new dress that pops up pretty regular. With the exception of the dumb Army officer, this was a much more satisfying episode
than any of the others in the series. Hopefully they will be able to get a deeper production team for the second season.
