In last week's episode, we are left with the tragedy that Captain Wescott left behind a good friend and soldier in combat and is suffering from severe PTSD. He attacks what appears is an innocent person, but who turns out to be one of the terrorists in the enemy's camp. The 2nd part continues with Gibbs helping Wescott recover his memories enough to track down this terrorist before he strikes again.
In the meantime, Abby, while trying to stay focused on the case, is getting nervous about making sure they make it in time for Thanksgiving dinner with Gibbs hosting the event this year. And, DiNozzo is on a mission to find out Ziva's mystery date to the opera.
The episode has a fantastic twist, though, and has a very happy ending, just in time for Thanksgiving. The terrorist, Randall Cursey, is caught along with his partner who turns out to be his girlfriend. And, at the end of the investigation, Westcott finally remembers that he didn't let Cursey drag his team member away to be killed. Instead, he ran in the line of fire to pull him away to try and save him. Wescott is still a damaged man, but he certainly can now be called a hero. God Bless America and Happy Thanksgiving.
