Leslie gets the 2-6 am time slot for a Pawnee local access telethon for diabetes and enlists the help of the office, forcing them to come in to answer phones and provide entertainment. Leslie manages to land former Indiana Pacer Detlef Schrempf as her celebrity host and puts Tom in charge of bring him to the show. When Tom gets distracted by bringing Detlef to his nightclub, the Snake Hole, Leslie is forced to find other entertainers including Andy's band, Mouse Rat, and Ron teaching the audience how to recane a chair. In the end, Detlef makes it with a few minutes left to announce he's donating $5,000, putting them over Leslie's goal.
