Recap

Leslie is working on getting her park built, but Councilman Jamm wants the space to go to another Paunch Burger. Leslie needs to raise $50,000 in order to get the park built and decides to throw a gala. Unfortunately, the Indiana Department of Emergency Preparedness decides to do an emergency drill during the only time Leslie has to plan the gala. Leslie later finds out Councilman Jamm put the person in charge of the drill up to this and she does everything in her power to end the drill.

Meanwhile, Ben is trying to organize the gala and sends Ron to promote it. When Joan Callamezzo is too drunk to host her show, Ron takes over and takes phone calls on the air about the gala, woodworking, and meat. The rest of the group gets food together, sets up the tent, and promotes the gala to everyone in town.

Andy prepares for the police academy exam with April by his side. He ends up getting everything on the written exam correct, but fails the personality test. Chris finds out about this, but Andy doesn't know yet.

In the end, Leslie succeeds in ending the drill and the gala appears to be a huge success. When Leslie suggests getting married that evening, Ben counters by saying they only have to wait another three months. Then they both realize everyone they want is there, it's a black tie event, and the food is provided for. They decide to get married!
