On this week's Person of Interest…

Reese and Finch follow Scott Powell, an unemployed family man who is set up for the murder of a politician, Michael Delancy.

Reese rescues Powell from the FBI and evades an assassin. Finch tries to figure out who is behind the set up and is hacked by a mystery computer whiz.

Finch decides to call in a former person of interest, Zoe Morgan, to help them on their mission. She discovers that his campaign manager, Matheson, for congress and business partner for their contracting company was setting up bribes and cutting corners. He wanted Delancy dead so he could blame the corruption on him.

Zoe sets Matheson up and Finch records his guilty admission during his call to the hacker.

Powell turns himself in, but Detective Carter receives the evidence that clears his name. Meanwhile, the hacker makes it look like Matheson committed suicide.

The hacker contacts Finch, tells him her name is Root and looks forward to being his opponent again in the future.
