Reese meets up with Detective Carter and she begins to work with him, although he doesn't tell Fusco about her help.
The Machine picks up a number involving a lawyer who handles cases where she tries to get the convicted ruling overturned. Turns out the parole officer for these felons is setting them up and putting their kids in foster care so he and his accomplice at child services can get money.
Meanwhile, Finch bails out Will, the son of Nathan Ingram, from prison. Will decides to stay in New York and discover more about his father and the mystery project that was sold to the government.
Reese becomes suspicious of Finch and sends Fusco to tail him.
