Recap
- Elaine gets the president to agree to send Bud to negotiate for the prisoners. He is successful in gaining their release.
- TJ continues to have trouble. He steals a check from his grandmother, but doesn't use it. Doug agrees to give TJ the money he needs for the nightclub.
- Susan goes on the negotiation trip with Bud and he uses her in the talks. She has sex with another reporter.
- Elaine tells Doug about her plans to run against Garcetti. He is upset at first, but then tells her that she can do it. Afterward, he reveals his mother's plan to Susan in hopes that making it public with sideline his mother's plans and campaign.
