Unfortunately, Henry uses his powers as a sin eater to touch the mirror Katrina used to communicate and learn its secrets. He sends the Horseman of Death to stop the witnesses from finding the sword. Ben Franklin comes to the rescue once again as he left clues behind that form a sort of treasure map. Using these directions Abbie and Ichabod reach the cavern where the sword resides. However, the cavern is guarded by a Gorgon. Locking eyes with the creature turns a person to stone. Abbie suggests using the Headless Horseman to distract the Gorgon while they find the sword. The plan works, soon Headless and the Gorgon are locked in battle. Abbie and Ichabod make their way into a chamber and discover not one but several swords. Which one is the Sword of Methuselah? It doesn't take long for the Horseman of Death to kill the Gorgon forcing Ichabod to leave Abbie to solve the mystery of the sword alone. Ichabod is shocked to see Abraham's face due to the caverns enchantment. The old friends engage in a heated discussion of betrayal and fate. Abraham allows Ichabod the opportunity to defend himself and they begin to duel. When Moloch calls Abraham using the horn, he spares Ichabod's life choosing for him to suffer in Hell once Moloch brings forth the end of times. Abbie did not have any luck acquiring the sword, however, by working together they manage to unlock the secret of the sword of Methuselah. A fully grown Moloch greets his minions but luckily the witnesses have a weapon to defeat him.
