Mindy and the rest of the staff think Danny is a drug addict and stage an intervention this week on The Mindy Project. When it turns out Danny is actually supplying an old childhood friend with pain pills, Mindy insists Danny cut him off. Danny's friend seeks out Mindy to intimidate her into leaving Danny alone and ends up taking her out on a date. Josh's old girlfriend Heather returns also this week and asks for Mindy's blessing to rent an apartment in her building. When Mindy confesses later on to writing a negative letter to her condo board about Heather's application, things turn physical one again. Mindy travels to Staten Island to make sure Danny confronts his friend and tells him he can no longer supply him with illegal prescriptions.
