Recap

Michael's (Steve Carell) world is rocked by troubling rumors about Dunder Mifflin. The company may be filing for bankruptcy soon. It could be bad.

He forces the office into a day of strange diversions, upsetting Jim (John Krasinski) and leading others to wonder if Michael has gone insane.

His plan is to recreate a murder mystery in Antebellum Savannah. Everyone tries to fake accents and determine who was involved in the murder.

As expected, some people are more into this than others. Dwight seems intent on finding the fake killer. Stanley just wants to do his crossword.

The most hilarious scene comes from Creed, who shows up and Michael tells, in his fake accent, that they are trying to solve a recent murder.

Creed bolts, hops in his car and peels out of the parking lot.

There is no subplot tonight, although we do see a little bit more from Andy (Ed Helms) and Erin (Ellie Kemper), who want to court each other but are confused by the murder mystery, and their own awkwardness.

In the end, Jim decides to stop trying to take himself so seriously and let Michael win this one. Sometimes, it's important to keep morale up, if only for a day.

Will Dunder-Mifflin really go under? That we'll have to wait and see.

The Office Season 6 Episode 10 Quotes

Dwight: Somebody attack me. Kevin, Go!
Kevin: No WAY. Last time, you pulled my pants down and then you tried to choke me with my shoelace.
Dwight: False. I DID choke you with your shoelace.

Jim: In everyone's defense I think the most worthy opponent of you is ... you.
Dwight: That is correct. Unless there happen to be measles present.
