Jim got back from a week at jury duty, only he was released during the first day of the case. He feels bad about what his co-workers went through in his absence so he tells them what he did. Dwight is happy because Andy said he would fire Jim if he was lying about jury duty.
Meanwhile, Angela had her baby. She said it was born premature, but it came out at nine pounds and seven ounces. She admits that it was conceived nine months ago, and Dwight realizes that it is his. He is on top of the world and could care less about getting Jim fired for lying.
