- Caroline helped Klaus overcome his pain from last week's white oak stabbing, which turned out to be placed in his head by Silas.
- And Elijah returned! He had been working with Katherine to find the cure and serve as a middle man to bring it to Klaus. And he did end up with the cure, and with Rebekah in his car, to end the installment. He's on his way to Mystic Falls.
