Elizabeth is finally back from San Francisco. Peter makes a date night with her for that night.

Neal wants Peter to go with him to the White Borde museum. When they get to work, Peter’s boss is there waiting to speak to him.

FBI agent Jack Franklin is a fugitive that used to work in the White Collar branch. US Marshall’s caught him trying to access their data base.

The Marshall’s our on the case of Franklin. Peter knows it’s up to his unit to catch him first.

Rebecca was engaged to Franklin and Peter and Neal decide to go pay her a visit undercover. While Peter is out on a test drive, Neal pretends to be a car salesman and gets into her computer and is able to realize that Rebecca was actually meeting up with Franklin.

Diana comes in and gets an article on a court case Franklin was working on before he disappeared. That same case had Decker, one of the Marshall’s, involved.

Peter was able to find where Franklin was - in his house. Franklin tells him that Decker was in out the case and Franklin needed to prove him guilty in order to be set free himself.

They go to get the evidence and catch up with Decker who starts shooting at Peter and Franklin and are able to barely make it out alive -

They are able to set up Decker and Stan using one of the oldest tricks in the book. Each of the guilty parties admit that they were involved in illegal acts.

The episode ends with Mozzie figuring out who Kate called - Fowler.
