A teenage conman named Scott who reminds Peter of Neal this week. Not only that, but he possesses Neal’s skills and more costumes as Neal had identities.
In true White Collar fashion, Neal and Jones went undercover to identify Scott and track him in the hopes of bringing him down, only to find that Scott himself needed help taking down someone tracking him.
Neal, Mozzie, Sara and Scott mount an effort to track Scott’s pursuer while encouraging him to turn himself in to the FBI and stop running.
In the end, the four not only take him down, but also frame him for a theft and get him arrested, but Neal manages to convince Scott to turn himself in and face the consequences.
In the mean time, Mozzie attempts to convince Neal to take on a new and more permanent identity, a fact Neal keeps from Sara, until she uncovers his newly furnished passport.
Neal: Whether there's an anklet or not, come Monday morning I'm gonna be stepping off that elevator on the 21st floor to go to work.
