If you took a poll, asking Americans the place in which they would want to spend the least amount of time, airports would likely be in the top five. They might even garner the top spot.

But this week's episode of Modern Family, aptly titled "Airport," actually made us wish we were hanging out in one of these typically-frustrating locales.

As long as a drunk Claire and a stylish Manny were around, we're be happy.

The best episodes of Modern Family bring various characters together, and because the entire half hour was dedicated to interactions between the Dunphys and the Pritchetts, we were thrilled.

We loved watching Jay's exasperated reaction as the surprises piled up (please tell us we'll hear Manny's song next week!) and the drinks (make them doubles) eventually poured forth.

The show even made funny use out of a flashback that showed how Dylan avoided detection by Haley's family, only to be trapped inside the house by an alarm. Speaking of flashbacks, the reference to Lost was both humorous and appropriate: Julie Bowen has recurred on that ABC drama.
