American Horror Story Season 2 to Be Titled...

A new setting and a new era won't be the only changes ahead on American Horror Story Season 2.

Ryan Murphy announced an addition to his show's title today, confirming the new episodes that kick off in October will be dubbed "American Horror Story: Asylum."

“We picked ‘Asylum’ because it not only describes the setting – an insane asylum run by Jessica Lange’s character which was formerly a tuberculosis ward – but also signifies a place of haven for the unloved and the unwanted,” Murphy said. “This year’s theme is about sanity and tackling real life horrors.”

Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, Zachary Quinto, James Cromwell, Joseph Fiennes and Adam Levine are among those who will join Lange on Season 2, with the singer Tweeting the mysterious photo above this week in honor of his role on the series.

In the latest casting scoop, Jenna Dewan will come on board as the partner of Levine's character.
