Emma Roberts will be trading in Chanel's witty one-liners for a brand new role on American Horror Story: Cult.

Series co-creator Ryan Murphy confirmed the news via Instagram with an impressive first look at the actress in action.

"Look who showed up on the set of Cult looking glamorous and ready for action," Murphy shared with his followers.

Roberts took to Twitter to confirm her involvement with the upcoming seventh season of the FX drama.

"I've joined #ahscult will you? mrrpmurphy," the actress said in a tweet to her 3.7 million followers.

No details have been revealed about who she will be playing. We will likely not know anything else about her until her episodes air.

If you watch American Horror Story online, you will already know that Roberts has appeared on two seasons of the horror series.

Her first appearance was as Madison Montgomery on American Horror Story Season 3. Her performance was a memorable one, to say the least.

She followed that up with a role in American Horror Story Season 4 as Maggie Esmerelda. She played a much nicer character who actually questioned whether the evil things she was doing were right.

Her most iconic role, however, has got to be as Chanel Oberlin in Fox's dearly departed Scream Queens.

The show was hilarious but did not manage to attract enough viewers to continue the show.

Fox canceled it in May, but Roberts is poised to share the screen with her former co-star, Billie Lourd, who was added to American Horror Story Season 7's cast.

Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters will be the main characters of the new season. Additional cast members include Lena Dunham (Girls), Billy Eichner (Difficult People), Leslie Grossman (What I Like About You) and Colton Haynes (Teen Wolf).
