Preacher: Renewed for Season 3!!!

Good news Preacher fans!!

Our favorite whacked-out supernatural drama, Preacher has been renewed for a third season!

Co-creator and Executive Producer Seth Rogen made the announcement via Twitter Thursday afternoon. It was a short and simple Tweet, but it sent up cheers for those of us keeping our fingers crossed that we hadn't seen the end of Jesse, Tulip, Cassidy and all the rest that made Preacher so much fun to watch!

What this means is that the whopper of a cliffhanger we were left with at the end of Preacher Season 2 will be resolved!

I know the readers of the comics know how the story turns out, but as a non-reader, I can't wait to see what happens to our favorite bad girl, Tulip.

If you haven't seen the show and want to or aren't yet caught up (what's wrong with you?!) stop reading now, because it's about to become SPOILER CITY below!

It was shocking when Tulip was shot and killed. We don't know how she got shot. We can only assume that Jenny/Lara shot her since she was the one with the gun.

Jesse's powers didn't work on her, and he wouldn't let Cassidy turn her into a vampire. Instead they put her in the car and headed towards a voodoo-like woman from Jesse's past who might be able to work magic on her.

What we can assume is that if the woman's successful, the team will consist of a zombie, a vampire and a god-like being. What a team!

Besides the Tulip whopper, there were also many other questions that we hope will be answered.

The Hitler and Eugene storyline was a bit frustrating because it really seemed to go NOWHERE. When the two finally ended up back home (and for Hitler it was the modern world), Hitler took off like a crazy person.

Is he just going to disappear? Is he going to return to his Hitler-like ways? What is Eugene going to do?

One of the things that really bothered me was that Jesse never once thought about what he did to Eugene the entire season. NOT ONCE. And considering he was so concerned about his soul, you'd think Eugene would have crossed his mind just once.

I hope that there is resolution to the Eugene/Hitler/Jesse story on Preacher Season 3.

Another big question is what happened to the Saint of Killers. When he got back to Hell, he made a comment to the guards that he wanted to talk to Satan (at least that's what I thought he said), and the guard told him Satan wanted to talk to him as well.

And what happened with that? NOTHING.

Don't you guys want to see a conversation between the King of Hell and the Saint of Killers? I know I do.

Then there's the question of whether or not Jesse will take on the role of the new Messiah. Right now, he's too concerned about bringing Tulip back to life, but Herr Starr isn't going to let Jesse forget it.

Preacher Season 2 was bogged down in New Orleans. The gang spent too much time in the apartment doing basically nothing and at times, the stories ran super slow.

Hopefully, the gang won't be stuck in the voodoo woman's house as long as they were stuck in Denis' place. BTW, I'm glad Denis is gone, aren't you?! Even if the way Cassidy killed off his son was rather shocking, but what else was he going to do?
