On Siren Season 2 Episode 2, the new mermaids were in the same state Ryn was in when she emerged from the water.
With Bristol Cove's annual Mermaid Beauty Contest in full swing, it quickly became clear there were going to be some issues.
Ben, Maddi, and Ryn had to turn to people who were out of the loop about the mermaid situation to help keep everyone safe.
However, one of the mermaids was not interested in following orders, and Ryn had to take action.
Meanwhile, Elaine's suspicions about Helen continued to intensify.
Did she learn the truth about what was going on?
Elsewhere, Maddi had to confront her mother about why she was back in town.
Her mother did attempt to fix things, but Maddi did not seem to care about the response.
