Shadowhunters Season 3 Episode 11 was merely a set up for everything that's going down on Shadowhunters Season 3 Part 2, and things get super crazy very fast.

Poor Clary is not enjoying her time with Jonathan, but who could blame her?

If we're honest, we can't help but sympathize with Jonathan.

Crazy right?

Despite all the things he did in the past something about him just seems different.

Jonathan wants to be a better person, but he doesn't exactly seem to realize what being a good person entails. He may talk the talk, but he isn't walking the walk. 

Seeing a much more human side of Jonathan makes us wonder if Jonathan could ever have a redemption. Or if he's even worthy of one. 

Despite trying to appear cooperative, Clary is continuously searching for a way to contact her friends.

And it is a bit difficult with Jonathan watching her 24/7.

Jonathan has recognized that Clary is an insanely clever person, so he isn't falling for her traps as easily as before.

If Clary is going to make a move against Jonathan, she's going to have to work hard to find a way to outsmart him. 

Luckily, Jace and Luke have figured out that Clary may not be dead after all and are doing everything they possibly can to get to her.

Jace's love for Clary is so pure, and it's clear that he would never give up on her.

But finding Clary isn't an easy task, so strap in. It's going to be quite an adventure. 

And then we have Magnus and Alec. And that scene. You all know which one we're talking about. 

As they discover during their session, training with your super hot Shadowhunter boyfriend may not be very effective. Alec makes it very clear not to flirt with him, but you know Magnus. He can't resist. And Alec can't resist him. 

Without his magic, Magnus is having a sort of...mid-life crisis. Or end of life?

How does it work when an immortal warlock who's been around for centuries is looking at only 40-50 more years? 

Meanwhile, Simon and Izzy have an adventure of their own. Simon is determined to get the Mark of Cain off his forehead no matter the cost to himself. 

Simon's selfless need to put others first is just one of the many things we love about him.  

We also get more of a backstory on the mark and learn how it came to be in the first place. 

Simon is just getting the short end of the stick recently, but thankfully Izzy is by his side every step of the way.

The Sizzy foreshadowing is so obvious now that they're not even trying to be subtle about it anymore. It's time to add one more person to the list of people who have mistaken Sizzy for a couple.

Is that three we're up to now? Or is it four? We're starting to lose track. 

There's a moment between them that really shows the kind of connection they have and how deeply they care for each other.

The time for denying Sizzy is over, and it seems like this is kicking off their journey this season.

If Shadowhunters Season 3 Episode 12 was any indication of how they're story is going to play out, it's going to be absolutely beautiful.

• Evil masterminds like hot cocoa. Who would've thought?

• Shadowhunters in Paris is a beautiful change of scenery. Could they maybe hang out there all the time?

• We've been severely lacking Luke and Jace scenes so thank goodness for this episode.
