Slutty Teenage Bounty Hunters Finds Its Leading Ladies

How do you follow Orange Is the New Black and GLOW?

With Slutty Teenage Bounty Hunters, of course.

That's the title of Jenji Kohan's latest Netflix series and leads have been cast!

The comedy from creator Kathleen Jordan and Tara Herrmann chose Maddie Phillips (Van Helsing) and Anjelica Bette Fellini (The Gifted) as their stars.

If you're unfamiliar with Jordan, you can find American Princess on Lifetime, a bawdy comedy following a newly single woman who takes up with the local Renaissance Faire.

Herrmann is Kohan's producing partner and they work together on Orange and GLOW.

Robert Suddeth (Mad Men) is also a producer on the series.

Slutty Teenage Bounty Hunters does have a story beyond it's tremendous title, too!

After joining forces with a veteran bounty hunter (Hardison), 16-year-old fraternal twin sisters Sterling (Phillips) and Blair (Fellini) Wesley dive into the world of bail skipping baddies while still navigating the high stakes of teenage love and sex.

Sterling and Blair plan to excel in all aforementioned extracurriculars, despite the watchful eye of their buttoned-up community.

One Day at a Time SAVED by Pop, Renewed for Season 4

"After spending the last seven years in prison, we were ready to break free and have some serious fun," says Kohan, in a statement.

"Kathleen [Jordan] provided a world we were excited to jump into and shake our hips around."

“We’re not here to judge, y’all. We’re here to embrace the nuance," say Jordan and Sudduth in a joint statement.

"This show is really about two young women trying to live their lives by their own rules, haters be damned.

The Office is Officially Leaving Netflix

"We can’t wait for the world to meet Sterling and Blair. And as for the title, 'Sex Positive Teenage Bounty Hunters' didn’t have the same ring.”

Filming will begin in Atlanta later this summer, and in conjunction with the stand Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos took against the "heartbeat bill," of Georgia, the production will donate to The Autonomy Fund.

The Autonomy Fund is a comprehensive solution for those that want to support organizations working across the spectrum of women's health services but are overwhelmed by the choices and need, according to its website.

What do you think?

Is this a show you'd watch, or would you be too afraid your parents or friends might judge you?

Surely, we jest!

Netflix Quotes

Jack: Alyssa is not Salvador!
Vera: She knows all our strengths and all our weaknesses. That makes her exceedingly dangerous.
Jack: Why do you hate her so much?
[Vera stares at him]
Vera: Mr. Morton, you’re relieved from temple duties until further notice.
Jack: You’re benching me?!
Vera: Your infatuation has become a liability.
[Vera walks away]
Jack: Yeah, well, you’re welcome for saving your life!
Vera: I said, “Thank you.”
