The cast and crew of The CW's Legacies made their way to San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, and there were some bombs revealed about Season 2 of the buzzy drama.
One of the biggest announcements was that Thomas Doherty, who played Harry Hook in the Descendants franchise, and he's playing a vampire who's been around for a very long time.
His character is described as a “very old vampire with old ideas about the way things work — but Lizzie might be into that.”
Lizzie struggled to find love on Legacies Season 1. Lizzie had a thing for Rafael, but he was not interested in her.
MG hoped to get close to Lizzie, but she friend-zoned him at every turn, but the vampire will be moving on during the sophomore run.
We also learned during the panel which was moderated by franchise veteran, Candice King, that Riley Voelkel very nearly reprised her The Originals role in an early episode of Season 2.
Julie Plec revealed that an episode had been written that featured three scenes of Hope's aunt, but the actress was already booked to guest star on Roswell, New Mexico the week it was filmed.
It's unclear whether those scenes could be reworked for later in the season, but it would have been great to have Freya in the mix during those early episodes.
As for other potential returns, it has been revealed that Chris Wood is not currently signed on to appear as Kai Parker, but Plec continued to say that she was very open to the idea.
She even told the fans to campaign to make him sign on the dotted line. Chris, if you're reading this, please sign on!
Then, there's a holiday-themed special in the works, and it will include an evil, monster Santa Claus.
What better way than to celebrate the holidays?
