One of this summer's most anticipated new shows has expanded its cast.
Veteran actress Annie Wersching will star opposite Halle Berry on CBS' Extant, a mysterious drama that centers on the Oscar winner as Molly Watts, an astronaut who returns from space and realizes that her experiences there will have a profound effect on human history.
Wersching wil portray Yasumoto Corporation board member Femi Dodd, an adversary of Berry's husband (Goran Visnjic) who tries to slow down our face toward a technology-based future.
Since concluding her run on 24 as Renee Walker, Wersching has been all over the small screen.
She has guest-starred on such hits as Castle, Intelligence, Touch, Revolution and NCIS.
CBS is yet to announce a premiere date for Extant.
