CRISTINA: [Hands Dr. Burke his cap]
PRESTON: "Thank you. How long have you had this? It's one of my favorites."
CRISTINA: "You're welcome. You know you don’t need it."
PRESTON: "What?"
CRISTINA: "I keep that cap in my locker because every morning I look at it and I'm reminded of what I'm here for and what I want to be. A great surgeon. One who is decisive and executes and who doesn’t need a piece of clothing to give him an edge in surgery. You don't need it.
PRESTON: [pauses] "I know. You're right."
CRISTINA: "I know I'm right."
PRESTON: "I guess we never really got our date."
CRISTINA: [smiles] "Are you kidding? That was the best date I've ever been on."

DEREK: "Congratulations."
PRESTON: "She doesn’t want to tell anyone. At least, not until she tells Meredith first."
DEREK: "They’re different than other women."
PRESTON: [Laughs] "Yes, these women. Yes they are."
DEREK: "You know, maybe we’ll never know them. I mean really know them. Now that you and Cristina are engaged, you’ve got a lot of work to do."
PRESTON: "Well that’s not for you to decide, Dr. Grey. He asked you for something. And you told him you would do it. If you don’t, that doesn’t make you noble. That makes you a liar ... Did you know she kept her apartment?"
MEREDITH: "Yeah, I did. Sorry."
DEREK: "This was my camping trip. I was going to come alone."
PRESTON: "Then why did you invite me?"
DEREK: "Because. It's a guy trip. You know, mountain men."
PRESTON: "You don't have any friends, do you?"
DEREK: "Of course I have friends."
PRESTON: "Guy friends?"
DEREK: "Yes! I just need peace.. space. I have a right to space. And you go and invite half the hospital."
PRESTON: "That's because I have guy friends."
PRESTON: "I don't want preferential treatment."
RICHARD: "And you're not gonna get it. You're not married, you're not hiding. You came to me. You clearly value your relationship. What you two have together, I understand that, Preston, and it does matter."
RICHARD: "Men who... have gray hair are noticed less than men who... don't."
DEREK: "By who?"
RICHARD: "Well..."
PRESTON: "By the ladies?"
MARK: [coughs trying not to laugh]
DEREK: "Looks good Chief."
RICHARD: "Very natural."

MEREDITH: [to Cristina, then Preston] "You're enjoying your meal at the International House of Silence. Burke, you have to feed Cristina. She doesn't cook and she will starve to death."
CRISTINA: "I have cereal!"
MEREDITH: "You two live together, someone has to be the first to speak."
PRESTON: "I am giving a dinner party. If she wants to sit there, she can sit there. Let's just enjoy our evening and talk about something else."
