RICHARD: "Joe and Walter got tired of not catching any fish. They went for a hike. What do you make of that?"
PRESTON: "Joe and Walter?"
RICHARD: "Oh! No, no, no. Joe and Walter are great. I mean that we've not caught any fish."
DEREK: "Just one: fish generally don't like to go where there's a lot of noise."
CRISTINA: "Look, if you think you’re gonna get any, think again. I'm not in the mood."
PRESTON: "I'm not in the mood either."
CRISTINA: "Good. What do you want?"
PRESTON: "Nothing, I just haven't seen you all day."
CRISTINA: "So I'm working."
CRISTINA: "There you are. I've been looking everywhere for you."
PRESTON: "What is it?"
CRISTINA: "I need to find this man's leg. The chief is going to kick me out of the program if I don't. I cannot go back to Los Angeles. It's sunny there. Every. Day."

CRISTINA: "What? I need you to help me find the leg! Aren't boyfriends supposed to help in situations like this?"
PRESTON: "When we're on duty, I can't be your boyfriend."
CRISTINA: "Okay, fine. So, when we're on duty, I can have sex with someone else?"
PRESTON: [pauses] "Dr. Yang... I'm walking away now."
PRESTON: "You’re confiding in me."
DEREK: "Yes."
PRESTON: "So, I have a question to ask. I checked the schedule and I noticed that both you and I are off tonight. I have a favorite restaurant. I made reservations."
CRISTINA: "None of those were questions."
PRESTON: "So where do we stand?"
CRISTINA: "At the northeast corner of the hospital?"
MEREDITH: "Stop it."
DYLAN: "What?"
MEREDITH: "Stop looking at me like I'm a patient."
DYLAN: "I'm sorry?"
MEREDITH: "The two of you are looking at me the way we look at patients. Like I’m gonna freak out at any minute. Well, I'm not going to freak out, so whatever it is, just tell me straight up."
PRESTON: [pauses] "The main oxygen line runs directly under this floor."
MEREDITH: "Okay. Not okay." [silence] "Well, I need one of you to tell me what this means exactly. Because I think I know what it means, but I tend to be glass half-empty these days, so I don’t trust what I think it means. Because what I think it means is that if the bomb were to explode over the oxygen line, the whole hospital could blow up. That’s just crazy right?"
PRESTON: "She's a motivated student. It's nothing to be ashamed of."
CRISTINA: "Thank you."
PRESTON: "A bit of a kiss-ass, but that's hard to control."
GEORGE: "Look, they're coming out."
PRESTON: "That's Colin Marlow."
ALEX: "Like the Marlow transplant?"
PRESTON: "Like the greatest thing in cardiothorastic surgery in a generation. Dr. Marlow. I'm Preston Burke. I'm a great admirer of your work, sir. Particularly the..."
COLIN: "Yes, thank you... Would you excuse me for just a second?"
RICHARD: "Tomorrow's a big day."
PRESTON: "And apart from the fact that Cristina hasn't written her vows, my best man just cancelled, and it's still raining."
DEREK: "He's not ready."
RICHARD: "You're never ready. I certainly wasn't. And then, the minute I saw Adele coming down that aisle... Well. Have you picked your best man?"
PRESTON: "We have been through a lot this year."
DEREK: "And everybody else turned you down. Alright, what do I have to do?"
RICHARD: "Well, traditionally, the best man plans the bachelor party."
DEREK: "Drinks at Joe's after work."
PRESTON: "I knew you were the man for the job."
RICHARD: "Go away!"
ADDISON: "But we can help!"
PRESTON: [to Addison] "No, WE can help."
ADDISON: "What's that supposed to mean?"
PRESTON: "He doesn't have any woman parts."
ADDISON: "Irrelevant."
PRESTON: "What is your problem?"
CRISTINA: "Everyone’s back. Everyone’s back except her. And I listen to her. Everyday, about her McLove life. Her McDreamy, her McCrap. And the one day, the one day I have a thing she disappears."
