- Two brothers are surfing when a wave hits and one of the kids gets swept up and nearly dies.
- It's Owen who nearly lost his little brother Tyler at that time.
- Owen heads out to Los Angeles for a bit to see his father.
- Wyatt calls Judd from jail for tagging a billboard.
- Judd is upset and says that it's not the Wyatt that they know.
- Marlene says that Wyatt started acting up for the past two months after his mother got engaged to Stanley. She asks the Ryders to keep an eye on Wyatt.
- Owen heads to where his brother drowned.
- Judd brings Wyatt to the family ranch to spend time with him.
- Owen goes to see his father but a bunch of other people are in there.
- Flashbacks to he and his parents at the hospital and they tell his parents that his brother died.
- Owen talks to someone in the waiting room about his father and how his father stopped caring about him as a teen.
- Wyatt talks to Judd about how angery he is that he didn't get to spend some time with him and know him before.
- a rattlesnake bites Judd's horse and throws Judd off. Judd fractures his leg The bone pops through and he tells Wyatt that he has to reset the ankle. Judd passes out when it's done.
- Owen calls TK and telsl him that he loves him and he's sorry they'v been so distant.
- Owen thinks about when he and his mother moved to NYC away from his father.
- Walter's wife Helen doesn't want Owen to cause issues with Walter at first but Robert tells her to let him talk. Owen apologizes to his father and Walter hears him and apologizes too. He let's Owen know that he's been keeping track of him.
- Owen goes surfing again.
- Judd's father comes and brings Judd and Wyatt back to the house. They all bond together.
