Recap

They respond to a car accident and have to rescue the passenger from one of the cars since the driver took off.

As they're treating the passenger in the EMT, the person had a recent kindey transplant with fresh sutures. They're waiting for the trauma team to arrive but the patient knocks TK ou tand takes off.

Tommy talks to a detective McGregor about the transplant patient and they surmise that he must've been part of an underground transplant operation.

Tommy has to spell out to McGregor that they need to know where to John Doe got that kidney, and Grace gets a call from someone who is in amotel room bathroom in a ice, drugged, after having her kidney taken out.

Lexie, the woman with her organs taken, starts dying while Grace is talking to her. She's dead by the time the rescue gets to her, and they manage to revive her.

Robert is there to reconnect with everyone and Owen notices that Robert seems a bit out of it or dioriented or forgetful. He gives them relics from Owen and his father.

Grace shows up to see Lexie and brings her flowers to check in with her after everyting happened.

Lexie is a runaway, making her a primary target for getting taken and having her organ taken from her. She thought she was going to meet a date.

Lexie says that the officers didn't believe her story and asked her how much she got for her kidney. McGregor shows up to talk to Lexie.

McGregor says that he believes Lexie sold her organ and Grace challenges him.

Grace creates a fake dating profile to try to lure the people out who went after Lexie. Judd is upset when he sees that she's using her real picture and a fake name.

Grace explains that Charlie is why she's inspired to do this because Black and Brown women go missing and aren't treated as victims. Judd encourages her to find people who do care enough to help.

Carlos brings her to Serena, another detective, for the case. Grace comes with information about a bunch of women just like Lexie who are out ot state.

Serena says that they have to talk to McGregor again. He gives Serena the case after feeling offended.

He callously delivers the news that Lexie died so he's not bringing charges against her anyway.

They get TK and Tommy to identify Clint, who was on the transplant list. They have to convicne his wife to let them in when they explain that he's dying.

Serena talks to Carlos about taking the detective's exam again. He says he'd rather be on patrol trying to prevent problems in the community rather than picking up the pieces after the fact. She reminds him that he has a gift for it.

Grace feels dejected and like the job isn't done and there's no justice for Lexie. Tommy and Judd encourage her to go home and rest.

They tell Clint that he'll be an accessory to murder, and they need him to give the names of the people he worked with.

Grace stays home eand plays video games but when Carlos calls her to tell her the latest update about finding the front for the transplant organization.

Grace gets a message from Mike, the person who lured Lexie, and she text him back. He wants to meet. She calls Carlos but doesn't get a response because they're breaching the facility.

She reaches out to McGregor and tells him to deliver the message to Carlos and Serena so that they'll be there to catch him when she meets him.

They see the surgeon with one patient but notice that he's apparently waiting for the donor, who would be Grace.

Mike charms Grace and spikes her drink. He follows her to the bathroom. Grace switched the drinks so that he roofied himsef.

McGregor shows up to save Grace.

Judd goes off on McGregor for not listening to her before but thanks him.

Robert shares with Owen that he's in the early stages of Huntington's disease. It's heriditary and something their father had and he's there to spend time with Owen while he still can.
