- A man is blowing up things in the desert with mannequins and a bystander sees and calls him out on it. The guy shoots the man asking him questions and kills him.
- Owen is trying to sell his bike, but Mateo talks a guy out of buying it.
- Asha from HR comes to investigate a complaint made against them.
- Grace gets a code from a boy, Linus, who needed help with his homework. She talks him through it.
- Grace helps him through with his homework.
- Asha the HR woman interviews all of them and they end up talking about all the names and things that have come up with them.
- Asha tells Marjan the inquiry is about her. The mobile home couple, specifically the wife, is upset that Marjan called her crazy. It's considered a slur and the woman says Marjan made her feel unsafe.
- Linus calls Grace again. He needed help with mac and cheese he was making and his mother overhears and gets him off the phone.
- But he's at home because his mother has a headache and is taking a nap and takes a lot of naps instead of being at school.
- The others are shocked that Marjan is in trouble, but it could be serious.
- Owen and Marjan have to head to headquarters.
- They get a call and Marjan gets benched. She's at the station when an arsonist bomber comes to look around supposedly looking for Starnd. He seeks informatoin about the fire test and recognizes her as Fire Fox.
- He takes one of their radios when Marjan isn't looking.
- Grace talks to her boss about her suspicions with Linus and his mother.
- Grace hears that Linus' mother was slurring her words and had a DWI a few years ago. She wants to send a cruiser for a wellness check, but Sarah lets her know that with a hunch she may be right but she could be wrong and CPS could take the kid anyway.
- Marjan gives a heartfelt apology when she gets in the room and sees that Lila and Mitch are in there. But they want a public post of an apology on Instagram in front of her followers and link her GoFund me because they want money for their house.
- Marjan doesn't feel comfortable soliciting money from her followers and they threaten to sue her instead if she doesn't.
- Grace confides in Judd about Linus and doesn't know what to do. He suggests they go check on the house as civilians.
- Grace talks to Linus but then hears his mother pass out and rushes to her aid.
- Grace calls Tommy about Sharon. Tommy figures out that Sharon must be having a stroke.
- Judd carries her out and they all rush to the hospital.
- Sharon is okay and they got to her just in time. She would've died if Grace hadn't been there.
- The arsonist bomber check out an apartment and leaves the door window unlocked so he can return.
- He set the fire at the building later and the 126 shows up.
- The arsonist sits outside the fire and tracks the times of when they got there.
- Marjan and Paul go to rescue the people in the fire. Marjan freezes with how she's trying to get them out of there and tries to talk him down. Paul comes and knocks him out and they head out.
- Paul goes to talk to Asha. She finally realizes where she knew him from. She brings up their elementary school back in Chicago. She recognizes him
- Asha shows him the email she wrote on Marjan's behalf and her recommendation that the apology Marjan gave was sufficient, but the chief said they don't want a lawsuit, so Marjan has to go through wtih the apology or gets thrown to the wolves.
- Marjan officially resigns in her public apology.
- Owen expresses his pride and gives her his bike to take. Marjan heads on the road after saying goodbye to everyone.
