A park ranger looks on as two bird watchers maker their way through the woods. One of the watchers gets to close to the roots of an overturned tree, and roots sling the tree upright and on top of him.

The 118 uses pulleys to tip the tree upright, and they shock the formerly trapped man back to life.

Buck tells Maddie about his decision to engage in radical acceptance.

Eddie gets a call from Christopher's school and discovers that he has been skipping science club to hang out with his friends at the park.

Bobby returns to the 118 and gives Hen some time off.

Buck has dinner with his old college roommate Connor and his wife Cameron, and they ask him if he will be a sperm donor for them. Later, Connor comes to see Buck privately and tells him why he chose him, and tells him he doesn't have to do it.

The 118 is called to a multi-vehicle accident involving a drunk driver who almost hit a biker. As Chimney gets in the car to check the unconcious driver, he comes to and starts driving away from the scene.

Buck follows on bike until the driver eventually stops.

A young girl, Claribelle, calls 911 when her father shows up to her apartment and assualts her mother before attempting to take her. Maddie talks with her, and Claribelle is able to fight back and get outside where the police are gathered.

Buck visits Hen at home and the two get drunk while Buck asks for advice about becoming a sperm donor.

The 118 are called to sorority house for a suspected overdose, and when they arrive they realize the victim is a dog who ate opioids. They call Hen to figure out how much narcan to give the dog, saving him.

Eddie and Christopher argue over Christopher feeling like Eddie treats him like a child.

After talking with Buck, Hen asks her professor for a second chance with medical school, and she agrees to give her a practical exam.

Maddie brings an immigration lawyer to the hospital to help Claribelle and her mother.

Athena returns home and is met with Bobby and the dog from the sorority call, Hoover.

Buck agrees to be the sperm donor for Connor and Cameron.
