Chicago Med Season 8 Episode 14 revolves around difficult decisions.

When Hannah's friend and fellow recovering addict Liza goes into labor, Hannah agrees to be the primary doctor even though she is supposed to be working in the ED. Hannah successfully delivers the baby, but Liza can't deal with her newborn's crying, and soon after Hannah finds her in the bathroom, passed out after taking heroin.

Archer wants to call DCFS right away but Hannah wants to try to find a treatment program that will allow Liza to remain with her newborn.

Meanwhile, Will treats a patient of Cuevas' who is supposed to finally be getting his kidney transplant tomorrow. However, he got in a car accident while rushing to the hospital, and when Will does a CT scan, he discovers evidence of bone cancer. The man begs Will to look the other way so he can still get his transplant.

Finally, Marcel decides to use 2.0 to do a radical surgery, which excites Jack and concerns Maggie. Maggie thinks Marcel is too dependent on 2.0. Marcel disagrees, but during the surgery, 2.0 fails to give him any advice about which artery to use and Marcel finds it hard to use his own judgment.
