- Burgess supervses Mack's sleepover with her friend until she catches a case where she has to identify somone from Temidos. Ruzek takes over.
- Burgess sees the person got shot in the same place she did. Voight shows up at the site and then the chief does and puts them on the case to get them away from their sex trafficking case.
- voight puts Hailey on vacation days, but it's up to her how she spends them
- Torres and Atwater find blood in a car that belongs to their victim.
- Ruzek and Burgess gets a lead that leads to them to a weird grave and then decomposing bodies underground.
- They conclude it's a serial killer and Burgess is reminded of when she was shot.
- They get a suspect with Hanson, but he's in the clear after they interrogate him.
- Ruzek notices that Burgess seems off with this case.
- The serial killer also burgalizes homes and leaves a window open to let them know he was there.
- They realize who the next victim is and try to get to her in tijme but she gets kidnapped by the killer who they realize is Tyler's brother, Mark.
- Mark's parents were killed by a rich guy who got away with it so he goes after the rich in revenge. '
- They get a lead on where he could be but when they get to the scene, Kim forgot her gun becuase her head hasn't been in it, and she stays behind while Ruzek clears the house.
- She hears a gunshot and rushes in and has flashbacks to her shooting.
- They find Linda, the missing woman with a GSW.
- Adam talks to Kim about how the case must've triggered her but she blows him off after she finds her gun in her locker.
- She goes to the other safehouse and sees Hailey and they talk about Sean.
- They piece together that something may be in Wisconsin and go on the trip there. They find his cabin, bust into it, and look around. They find a bunch of mushrooms in a basement like area and a skeleton.
