Recap

A man arriving for a date is drugged and knocked out. The BAU hosts a baby shower for Matt's wife Kristy. Rossi is missing because he's continuing his solo, six-month manhunt for Everett Lynch, "The Chameleon." He's at the site of what appears to be Lynch's latest killing in Maryland. But the victim is instead male who had the skin of his torso removed. Rossi contends this isn't Lynch's only male victim. But the team is divided about this conjecture. A second male body is found thanks to the search requested by Rossi. The unsub is using a dating app to select victims. The second victim is identified as Daniel Kane, who was on the same dating site that Lynch used to select female victims. Prentiss insists that Rossi interrogate Lynch's mother Roberta and daughter Grace, even though he doesn't think the BAU needs them any longer under his new theory. A third victim, Gregory Broder, is dumped in the same area. The first John Doe is identified as Terrence Folger. Everyone but Rossi thinks the unsub is someone other than Lynch. Prentiss leaves Rossi on the Lynch case while everyone else investigates the current unsub. The unsub is revealed as Dr. Sebastian Hurst, the chief Baltimore city coroner. He drugs his Baltimore County counterpart. The team checks out Arthur Terrell, whose credit card was used to pay for Broder's plane ticket. But Rossi follows his hunch and interrogates Hurst. Simmons finds the portfolio which includes Hurst's photo at Terrell's house. Hurst tries to attack Rossi with a scalpel. Rossi still thinks Hurst is working with Lynch. Hurst had been conned by Roberta and had gotten close to Everett. Everett poses as Grace's new lawyer, to break her out. Grace shoots J.J. during their escape.
