A couple meets at the Vortex dance club, then the man, Jeremy Holder, is found dead in a dumpster the next day. Lynn and Melissa have conspired to get McGarrett and Danny to take a weekend getaway, including volleyball, swimming and yoga. Holder was in town to attend The Method seminar on how to pick up women, taught by Blake Stone. The bartender said the woman, Vanessa Lancey, was a prostitute. Danny gets into an ongoing tiff with a teen boy over Danny's missing sunglasses. Kono arrests Stone for arranging for escorts to hook up with his clients. Kono accuses Stone of being a con artist. Vanessa's stalker, Neil Ware, killed Jeremy and abducts her. Vanessa stabs him in the leg with a piece of broken glass, and locks herself in the bathroom. Chin, Grover and Kono arrive after Neal has fled, going after Stone. Kono wings him before he gets to Stone. Danny breaks into the boy's room, only to find out the boy hadn't taken his sunglasses. Danny and McGarrett try to salvage the weekend with a nice dinner.
